RESOLUTION NO. 594
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TIBURON REQUESTING
THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE COUNTY OF MARIN
TO AUTHORIZE THE COONTY CLERK TO RENDER SERVICES
~H8ARDING THE HUNICIPAL ELECTION OF TUESDAY. MARCH 5. 1974
WHEREAS, Section 22003 of the Elections Code of the State of California
provides that the governing body of any city may request the County Board of
Supervisors to permit the County Clerk to render specified services to the city
relating to the conduct of an election; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiburon wishes to avail itself of those specified
services as pro~ided:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Board of Supervisors of Marin County is hereby requested to
permit the County Clerk to render to the City of Tiburon the following specified
services as they pertain to the Municipal Election to be conducted in this City
on the 5th day of March, 1974
l. Provide voter indices
2. Provide current voter count by precinct
3. Arrange for drayage of po 11 ing place equipment
4. Printing of sample and official ballots
5. Printing of polling place cards
6. Inserting and mailing of sample ballots
7. Printing of Candidates' Statement of Qualifications
8. Aprointment and Notification of Election Officers
9. Rental of Precinct Polling Places
10. ProcureT.ent of Precinct Supplies
11. Training of Precinct Workers
12. Canvassing of votes cast
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Tiburon held on December 10th 1973, by the following vote:
