A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBUB.ON
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EN'l'ER INTO A CONTRACT WI'nt THE
STA TE BO!\RD OF EQU\LIZA TION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiburon on the 23rd day of
June, 1964, adopted Ordinance No. 11, imposing a city sales and use tax and
providiQg for the performance by the State Board of Equalization of all functions
incident to the administration) operation and collection of sales and use tax; and
WHEREAS, said ordinance No. 11 was codified as Chapter 6 of the Tiburon
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on

, 1973, adopted Ordinance
No.~N.S.) amending Chapter 6 of the said Code; and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Revenue and Taxation Code, a con-
tract for State administration of such local sales and use tax must be entered
into;
NCM, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Mayor be authorized to
enter into an agreement with the State Board of Equalization for the collection
of said sales and use tax at the rates contained within the said contract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City of
Tiburon on the 24th day of September) 1973, by the following vote:
