A RESOLUTION OF 'l'HE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
RECOGNIZING THE TIBURON CITY EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS. Chapter 10, Division 4, Title 1 of tbe Government Code of the
State of California provides for the establishment of uniform and orderly
methods of communication between employees and the public agencies by which they
are employed; and
WHEREAS, it further provides for the recognition by the public agency of
an organization that represents the employees in promoting improved employer-
employee rela tions; and
WHEREAS, the Tiburon City Employees' Association was formed on March 14th,
1973, by unanimous vote of the employees;
N~, l'HEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
That the TIBURON EMPLOYEES' ASSOCIATION is the recognized employee organi..
zation of the C~ty of Tiburon as representing the majority of the employees of
tbis City, and as such, a duly authot'ized representative to meet and confer in
good faitb regarding tbe matters of employee welfare, including wages and other
terms and conditions of employment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of tbe City Council of the City of
Tiburon held on
