RESOLUTION NO. 498
A RESOLUTION OF T~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON APPROVING TR1'\ilSFER OF TE RIU TORY FRO~
THE CITY OF TIDURON TO THE CITY OF ~ELVEDERE
(ALCATRAZ AVENUE ON CORINTHIAN ISLAND)
~?HEREAS, the petition proposing the property transfer described
in Exhibit "An, attached heretot vias duly received by the City Council
of the City of Tiburon; and
t'mEREAS, said petition 'is signed by all the o\v.ners of the property
included within said territory; and
r-mEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Tiburon; and
r'rrffiREAS, said petition has heretofore been filed with the Local
Agency Formation Co~~ission of the County of Marin, pursuant to
Section 35271 of the Gove~~ent Code;
NO\l, THEREFORE BE IT RESOL'V'ED:
That the City Council of the City of Tiburon does hereby approve
of the proposed transfer of the described territory from the City of
Tiburon to the City of Belvedere.
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ci tyr~anager is hereby directed
to immediately prepare and transmit to the Local Agency Formation
Commission of the County of Marin a certified copy of this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular ~eeting of the City, Council of
the City of Tiburon held on
January 8th
