Section 1. There is 11ereo~y adopted an official seal o~
Ci ty, having around its perimeter the \V'or ds IICi ty of Tiburor".'
Ivlarin County, Californiall, and inside IIIncorporated 23 June
196411 .
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Tiburon
finds and declares that this Ordinance is l;equired for the im-
mediate preservation of the pUblic peace, safety, general wel-
fare and convenience of the City of Tiburon and its residents,
and the following is a statement of facts constituting such
emergenc;y:
Under the general laws of the State of California, a
City is required to adopt a seal, and since the City has re-
centl~; become incorporated, it is incumbent that a seal be
adopted in order that the regular business of the City ma~T be
accomplished.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective inune-
diately.
T~1is Ordinance was introduced at a meetin[ of the Council
of the City of Tiburon on June 23, 1964, and was ordered posted
in at least three public places in said City of Tiburon.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a neeting of the City Council of
the Ci ty of Tiburon on the 23rd day of June, 1961.~ by the fol-
lowing vote:
