ORDINANCE NO, 25
AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO INCLUSION OF CERTJ;.IF
PROPERTIES IN THE TIBURON.FIRE PROTECTION DISTRIC~
The City Council of the City of Tiburon does hereby or-
dain as follows:
Section 1. A portion of the City of Tiburon now lieE
within the boundaries of the Tiburon Fire Protection District
of the State of California, and said District now seeks to anne~:
additional territory, parts of which lie within the incorporatec
limits of the City of Tiburon.
Section 2. On July 9, 1964, the Marin County Local
Agency Formation Commission, at the request of the Tiburon
Fire Protection District, approved the proposed annexation of
the territory described in Exhibit "A"" which is attached here-
to and incorporated herein, to said.District and said District
now intends to request the Marin County Board of Supervisors to
initiate annexation proceedings in accordance with the pro-
visions of Chapter 9, Part 2.7, Division 12 of the Helath and
Safety Code of the State of California.
Section 3. In that the City Council does find said
annexation to be in the interest of the City of Tiburon, the
City of Tiburon does hereby consent to and approve of the annexa-
tion of those parts of the territory which are within the in-
corporated limits of the City of Tiburon to the Tiburon Fire
Protection District. The properties so consented to and approved
of for annexation are generally described as: all of Parcels
1 and 2 and a portion of Parcels 3 and 4, said parcels being
particularly described in Exhibit "A".
Section 4. This ordinance shall go into effect thirty
(30) days from and after the date of its adoption, and shall be
posted in three public places within the City of Tiburon as pre-
viously designated by Council Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Coun-
cil of the City of Tiburon held on the 21th day of December,
1964, and passed by the following vote:
