ORDINANCE NO. 47
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
CONSENTING TO INCLUSION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES IN THE TIBURON FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT
The City Counci I of the City of Tiburon does hereby ordain as fol lows:
WHEREAS, the Tiburon Fire Protection District proposes to annex that certair
territory described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, part of said territory is in the incorporated area of the City of
Tiburonj and
WHEREAS, on October 7, 1965, the Marin County Local Agency Formation
Commission, at the request of the Tiburon Fire Protection District, approved the
proposed annexation of the territory descrIbed In Exhibit "A", which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein, to said District, and said District now intends to
request the Marin County Board of Supervisors to initiate annexation proceedings in
accordance with the provisions of Chapter 9, Part 2.7, Division 12 of the Health and
Safety Code of the State of California.
NOW IT IS HEREBY ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS:
I. That the City Council does find said annexation to be in the best
Interest of the City of Tiburon.
2. The City of Tlburon does hereby consent to and approve of the annexation
of those parts of the territory which are within the incorporated limits of the City of
Tiburon to the Tiburon Fire Protection District.
This Ordinance is to take effect.and bo in force at the expiration of thirty
(30) days from and after Its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days
after its passage the same shal I be pUblished, with the names of the members voting
for and against the same, at least once in a newspaper of general circulation published
In the City of Tlburon.
The foregoing Ordinance was passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the
City Council, City of Tiburon, held on the 24th day of January , 1966, by the
folfowl ng vote:
