A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
THE TOWN OF TIBURON COMMENDING TOWN CLERK DIANE CRANE IACOPI
WHEREAS, Diane Crane Iacopi has served Town since March 20, 1995 as Town Clerk, serving
the Town Council, the residents of Tiburon and staff with professionalism, knowledge, dedication
and good humor;
WHEREAS, Diane has produced nearly all of the Town Council's last 360 agenda packets and
approximately 3,500 pages of Town Council minutes over the past fifteen years;
WHEREAS, Diane has served as the Town's election officer, overseeing 13 Municipal
Elections and shouldering the responsibility of the local election process, bringing each to successful
completion with never so much as an admonishing phone call from the dreaded Elections Board;
WHEREAS, Diane edited and wrote the former quarterly Town Newsletter and now serves as
editor of the monthly Tiburon Talk e-newsletter and has expanded the position of Town Clerk to
encompass notary public services;
WHEREAS, Diane's unfailing good taste and imaginative spirit has resulted in enviably unique
proclamations, polished events, and streamlined meetings;
WHEREAS, Diane has assisted many Mayors and Councilmembers in the fulfillment of their
duties be it on legislative committees, League of California Cities, MCCMC or other endeavors;
WHEREAS, through participation in California Clerks Association workshops and networking
with other California cities, Diane has become a resource for shared city information;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon does
hereby commend and honor Diane Crane Iacopi upon the anniversary of her 15 years of dedicated
service to the Town of Tiburon.
