MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Berger called the special meeting of the Tiburon Town Council to order at 7:02 p.rn.
on Wednesday, January 5, 2005, in Town Council Chambers, 1505 Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon,
California.

Jt. Recreation Committee Chair Priscilla Tripp introduced and welcomed new Recreation Director
Bruce Mulder.

PUBLIC HEARING
1. Recommendation by Fouutaiu Plaza Committee - Presentation of Conceptual Designs
by Artist Finalists and Public Connnent Period
7:00 PM - Reed Madden Designs, 3944 Lime Avenne, Long Beach, California
8:00 PM - Daniel Oberti, 3796 Twig Avenue, Sebastopol, California
9:00 PM - Larry Shank, 102 Homestead Boulevard, Mill Valley, California
Mayor Berger gave a brief background and summary of the parameters given to the three artist
finalists by the Fountain Plaza Committee. The artists then gave their presentations, in order,
followed by a public connnent period for each one.
Councilmernber Smith left the meeting at 9:30 p.rn.

Steven Bendenelli, 735 Hilary Drive, distributed a letter to the Council from he and his wife
describing problems associated with the St. Hilary church expansion project. In particular, Mr.
Bendenelli said that there were a number of areas in which the church was not being a "good

neighbor" by complying with the requirements of its conditional use permit, and he listed the
following: I) lighting, 2) noise, 3) garbage pick up, 4) [lack of] crossing guards on Hi1ary Drive,
5) increase in traffic and speed, 6) Tiburon view ordinance violation, and 7) tree cutting on
disputed property.
ADJOlJRNMENT
There being no further business before the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon, Mayor Berger
adjourned the regular meeting at 9:35 p.rn., to the next regular meeting scheduled for January 19,
2005.
