Between Town of Tiburon and
Nicolay Consulting Group
Nicolay Consulting Group (NCG) agrees to perform an actuarial valuation of the Town
of Tiburon's Retiree Medical Plan as of July 1, 2011 for the fiscal year ending June 30,
2012 which meets all requirements of GASB 45. The project will be managed by
Douglas R. Tokerud, F.S.A., M.A.A.A., who will also be the signing actuary on the
valuation.
NCG's fees and expense shall be $4,500. This amount includes one meeting to discuss
our report with the Director of Administrative Services In the event a second valuation
is requested as of the above date but at a different discount rate, the above fee shall be
increased by $600. Services requested by the Town outside the scope of the above,
including any presentations to the Town Council, shall be billed based on time and
expense. Fees for Council meetings or other significant extra work shall be approved by
the Town in advance.
The draft report for the valuation shall be emailed to the Town approximately three to
four weeks after the receipt of the data requested by NCG. A Final Report shall be
mailed to the Town within approximately seven days after the Town's acceptance of
NCG's draft report.
Our bill for the above described project shall be submitted to the Town for payment by
the lesser of 30 days after the submission of our final report or 45 days after the
submission of our draft report.
