I was recently in Tiburon for the 13th Annual RCP Tiburon Mile. My daughter and I
were fortunate to have been able to spend a few days before.the event visiting some of
sights in the Tiburon area.
We were very much struck by the welcoming extended to us and the friendliness of the
people that we meet. The extent of community involvement, volunteerism and
participation was clearly evident in the RCP Tiburon Mile as it made for a most
memorable event. Not much wonder that participants come from many parts of the globe
to compete in this open water swim.
You have a unique town in one of the most picturesque areas of the US ....well, make that
the world.
I hope to be able to return to Tiburon for many years to come, and to bring along more of
my Canadian friends to enjoy your very special town that you are all so rightfully proud
of.
