A RESOLUTION OIF THE TOWN COUNCIL OIF THE TOWN OIF '7C IBURON
COMMENDING LAURIIE TYLER
]FOR HER DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO THE TOWN OIF TI B URON
WHEREAS, Laurie Tyler has served the Town for over six years as Associate Planner,
demonstrating friendliness, thoroughness, intelligence, perseverance and a strong sense of teamwork;
WHEREAS, Laurie Tyler has attended countless Design Review Board, Planning Commission,
Town Council, Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee, Community Action to Reduce Traffic, and
Marin Climate Energy Partnership meetings, and has served each of these respective bodies with
professionalisM, knowledge and good humor; and
WHEREAS, Laurie Tyler's primary responsibility was to process hundreds of Design Review
applications and hold the hands of hundreds of applicants, which she has accomplished with patience
and a commitment to the best in customer service; and
WHEREAS, Laurie Tyler has now chosen to pursue a different career challenge in the Pacific
Northwest, bringing her professional experience in Tiburon to bear on the planning needs of the
coffee-drinking, rain-soaked, Microsoft/Amazon/REI-loving residents of the City of Bellevue,
Washington;
WHEREAS, Laurie Tyler will be missed by the Town of Tiburon for her cheerful character,
sense of service to the community, and unflagging dedication to her fellow employees and the
residents of Tiburon.
NOW THEREIFORE, BE )IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon
hereby expresses its sincere appreciation to Laurie Tyler for her outstanding public service to the
Town of Tiburon, and extends its best wishes for a future, in her life and career, that exceeds all
expectations.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at the Town Council on February 20, 2013 by the following vote:
