However once a week we did water by hose to supplement our drip irrigation/ It is essential that we keep the roots of our native plants moist to be kept alive during the drought. We did transplant one large shrub, kept up on weeding. Our first big volunteer pruning session is scheduled to be next Monday. We have EIGHT VOLUNTEERS coming —a record number.
